The NS-Dokumentationszentrum Munich documents the history of National Socialism with a specific focus on Munich, the movement’s founding city and headquarters. The center stands on the site of the former Braunes Haus (Brown House), the Nazi Party’s national headquarters from 1930 until its wartime destruction. The building is a deliberately plain white cube, opened 30 April 2015, the 70th anniversary of Munich’s liberation. The permanent exhibition across four floors uses original documents and objects; captions are in German and English. Free entry. Tuesday to Sunday 10:00-19:00. U2 Koenigsplatz.
