The Marmorschloessl is a marble tea pavilion inside the Kaiservilla park in Bad Ischl, built in 1861 by Franz Joseph as a private gift for Empress Elisabeth. She decorated it personally in a style that reflected her own literary and aesthetic interests rather than imperial convention, making it one of the few spaces in the Habsburg world that was genuinely hers.
