A 75 km trail crossing all of Liechtenstein from Balzers to Ruggell, opened in 2019 for the principality’s 300th anniversary. The Vaduz section alone makes a half-day walk through vineyards and past the castle. Free; always accessible; no special gear needed for valley stages. Full route available at liechtensteinweg.li. The trail runs along the Rhine, which is simultaneously the Austrian border.
