Franz Lehár, composer of The Merry Widow and the most successful operetta composer of the late Habsburg era, lived in this Bad Ischl villa from 1912 until his death in 1948. The interior is preserved intact with original furnishings, manuscripts, and the salon piano. Located on the Lehárkai along the Traun river, 10 minutes from the town center.
