The Kunsthaus Graz at Lendkai 1 is a biomorphic “Friendly Alien” building by Peter Cook and Colin Fournier (2003), one of the most discussed contemporary buildings in Austria, with a glowing BIX media facade and no permanent collection: the building is the exhibit, hosting major rotating contemporary art shows. Do not miss the Needle rooftop terrace with its view of the Schlossberg clock tower across the Mur river.
