The interior is four stacked concrete exhibition floors with natural light filtering through the shell. KUB hosts international rotating exhibitions with no permanent collection.

The Kunsthaus Bregenz (KUB) at Karl-Tizian-Platz is a 1997 contemporary art museum by Peter Zumthor, one of the most architecturally significant museum buildings in Austria, with a translucent glass shell filtering natural light into stacked concrete exhibition floors. No permanent collection; international rotating exhibitions. Admission approximately EUR 10 to 14; check kunsthaus-bregenz.at for current shows and hours. Bregenz Bahnhof is 5 minutes on foot. Combine with the Bregenzer Festspiele floating stage on the lake and the Vorarlberg Museum nearby.
