Kitzbuheler Horn

A panoramic mountain accessible by cable car from St. Johann in Tirol. The Alpine Flower Garden near the summit is one of the largest in the Alps. The 360-degree view covers the Wilder Kaiser, the Kitzbuheler Alps, and the Hohe Tauern. Less famous than the Hahnenkamm across the valley but equally scenic.

The Kitzbuheler Horn above St. Johann in Tirol rises to 1,996 meters and is accessible by cable car, with the Alpine Flower Garden near the summit as the main summer attraction, one of the largest in the Alps with several hundred mountain plant species. Best combined with the Koasa Trail circular hiking route that circles the Kitzbuheler Alps from the same town.
