A 976-meter summit directly above Dornbirn (Vorarlberg’s largest city), reached by the Karrenseilbahn cable car from the Gütle gorge. Views west over the Rhine valley to Switzerland, north to the Bodensee (Lake Constance). The Gütle gorge (Rappenlochschlucht) is walkable from the same cable car station. The Karren is a 976-meter summit directly above Dornbirn, Vorarlberg's largest city, reached by the Karrenseilbahn cable car from the Gütle gorge at the city's edge. From the summit, the view extends west over the Rhine valley to Switzerland, north to the Bodensee (Lake Constance), and east into the Bregenzerwald.
