Flat-topped 2,044-meter mountain above the Bregenzerwald (Bregenz Forest) valley, recognizable for its tabular profile and visible from the Rhine valley floor. The summit plateau is reached in 4 to 5 hours return from Bezau. Clear-day views extend west across the Rhine to Switzerland and south toward the Alps. Free; open terrain in summer season. Bezau is accessible by regional bus from Bregenz via the Bregenzerwald network.
