The Neo-Gothic (19th-century revival of medieval Gothic) building is the largest in Hungary and the most recognizable image of the city, best seen illuminated from across the Danube at dusk. Inside guided tours (EUR 15-20, book online): the main staircase, the domed hall, and the Holy Crown of Hungary under permanent guard.
