The Hohe Wand nature park south of Vienna is a limestone plateau with 300-meter cliff faces and a Skywalk viewpoint over the edge, panoramic views of the Vienna Basin, marmot enclosures, easy plateau hiking, and serious rock climbing on the south face. The Eichert restaurant serves simple Austrian food on top. By car from Vienna (90 minutes south on A2 to Wöllersdorf, then B26 to Stollhof and up the toll road, approx EUR 6).
