The Hochkoenig Panoramaweg is a 3-5 day circular hiking route around the Hochkoenig massif (2,941m) in the Salzburg Alps, linking Maria Alm, Dienten, and Muhlbach through high alpine meadows with mountain hut accommodation. Summer season June to September; book huts well in advance for July and August. Start from Maria Alm, accessible by bus from Saalfelden (rail from Salzburg).
