Circular walk 1-1.5 hours; parking approximately EUR 5-6. By car from Berchtesgaden (15 km); no public transport. Munich Romantic school painters worked here in the 19th century; their paintings are in the Neue Pinakothek. Quieter than the Koenigssee and worth the detour if you are already in the Berchtesgaden area.
