The Grassalkovich Palace in Bratislava is the current Presidential Palace of Slovakia, a Rococo (18th-century ornate decorative style emphasizing curves, gilding, and light pastel colors) building constructed in 1760 for Count Anton Grassalkovich, a Hungarian nobleman who served as a trusted official of Empress Maria Theresia.

The Grassalkovich Palace in Bratislava is the Presidential Palace of Slovakia, a 1760 Rococo building commissioned by Count Anton Grassalkovich, a Hungarian noble closely connected to Empress Maria Theresia. Built during the period when Bratislava (then Pressburg) was the capital of Habsburg Hungary, with the coronation church and royal administrative apparatus all concentrated here. The palace interior is not open to the public, but the formal gardens are free to walk. Central Bratislava, a few minutes on foot from the Old Town.
