The Furstenstieg (Princes' Way) is Liechtenstein's most famous and challenging hiking trail, crossing the ridge above Vaduz on narrow paths that require some scrambling and head for heights. The route provides panoramic views over the Rhine Valley, the Austrian Alps to the east, and Switzerland to the west.

Trailhead above Vaduz; buses run from the center. The trail provides the best single overview of the entire principality, with Vaduz Castle visible below throughout much of the route.
