Five metal platforms extend over a 400-meter vertical drop from the Krippenstein above Hallstatt, each designed differently: one with a glass floor, one framing a picture-window view, one with a telescope, and two others giving increasingly extreme overhangs.

The Five Fingers Viewing Platform above Hallstatt puts five metal arms over a 400-meter vertical drop from the Krippenstein summit at 2,109 meters, each with a different design: glass floor, picture frame, telescope, and progressively extreme overhangs. Free to access from the Krippenstein cable car upper station in Obertraun (cable car approximately EUR 30 to EUR 36 round trip). Open May to October by cable car; panoramic views of Hallstatt, the Hallstattersee, and the Dachstein glacier. Combine with the Dachstein Ice Cave on the same cable car trip.
