The Edelweiss-Spitze at 2,571 meters is the highest accessible point on the Grossglockner Hochalpenstrasse, reached by a 1.5 km spur road. The 360-degree panorama covers 30+ peaks above 3,000 meters, including the Grossglockner to the south and the Venediger and Dachstein groups to west and east. Access included in the Hochalpenstrasse toll (around EUR 38 per car); open May to November, weather permitting. Allow 30-45 minutes. For a broader panoramic view than the Kaiser-Franz-Josefs-Hoehe, the Edelweiss-Spitze is the better stop.
