The oldest bakery in Graz, documented since 1569, and once the official Hofbackerei (court bakery) of the Habsburgs. The ornate Art Nouveau shopfront on Hofgasse is a landmark in itself. Edegger-Tax is known for its Sissibusserl (Empress Elisabeth cookies) and traditional Styrian Lebkuchen.
