The Dreifaltigkeitssäule (Trinity Column) on Hauptplatz in Baden bei Wien is a 1713 Baroque plague column, erected as a public act of thanksgiving when Austria’s last major plague epidemic passed. It is one of the characteristic Baroque building types of the Habsburg lands, along with Vienna’s more famous Pestsäule on the Graben.
