The Drauradweg (Drava Cycle Path) follows the Drau river for approximately 366 km through East Tyrol and Carinthia from the Italian border to Slovenia on mostly flat, dedicated riverside paths. It passes Lienz, Spittal an der Drau, Villach, and the Carinthian lake district. 4-6 days for the full Austrian section; day-trip sections available from Lienz, Spittal, or Villach. The upper East Tyrolean section through the Pustertal, with Dolomite peaks on both sides, is the most scenic. The Carinthian section from Spittal to Villach is flatter and faster.
