The Seebuhne is a floating stage on Lake Constance built new every two years for the Bregenzer Festspiele opera festival. The set designs are architectural landmarks in their own right: massive structures rising from the lake that can incorporate water effects, moving platforms, and projections visible to the 7,000-seat open-air audience.
