Almbachklamm

The Almbachklamm is a gorge walk near Berchtesgaden where the path runs through a series of wooden bridges and galleries bolted directly into the limestone walls above the rushing stream. It follows the route of a historic marble run, a 200-year-old wooden channel system built to transport marble blocks down from the quarries above.

Combine with the Konigsee, 15 km from Berchtesgaden, for a full day in the area.
