The Albertina Klosterneuburg opened in 2017 in the former Essl Museum building on the Danube bank 12 km from Vienna. It holds the Essl contemporary art collection, now managed by the Albertina. S-Bahn S40 from Vienna Franz-Josefs-Bahnhof takes 20 minutes. Check albertina.at for current exhibitions and hours. Combine with a visit to Stift Klosterneuburg, the Augustinian monastery above the town.
