The Airwalk Kölnbrein is a cantilevered viewing platform on the crown of the Kölnbrein dam at the head of the Malta Hochalmstrasse valley in Carinthia, projecting out over the 200-metre drop to the reservoir below.

The Airwalk Kölnbrein is a glass-and-steel cantilevered platform on the crown of Austria’s highest dam (2,000m), overhanging a 200m drop to the turquoise reservoir below. Allow 2 to 3 hours for the drive up and back through 29 hairpin turns. Combine with a visit to Gmuend’s medieval town center below.
