Italy

Italy is Austria's southern neighbor and the country parent for Roam Austria's northern Italian extensions, reached naturally through the Brenner corridor from Tyrol or across the border from Carinthia.

Northern Italy is a natural continuation of several Austrian routes. Trains run south from Innsbruck over the Brenner Pass toward Verona, while Carinthia opens toward Friuli and Venice. The landscape and food change quickly, but the historical connections do not stop at the modern border.

Roam Austria only carries the Italian destinations that make sense in that context. This page is their country parent, not a substitute for a complete Italy guide.
