Golling an der Salzach has two natural highlights within walking distance of the village: the Gollinger Wasserfall, a 76-meter limestone waterfall reachable in 15 minutes, and the Salzachöfen gorge where the river narrows through a dramatic rock cut. The Bluntautal above the village is a gentler valley walk for families. The medieval Burg Golling houses a regional museum. About 30 minutes from Salzburg by car or 25 minutes by train.
